Meet Nena (“Ms. Wiggles”)

Nena is a loving, affectionate girl who wants nothing more than to be close to her people. She’s the kind of dog who will happily follow you from room to room, curl up beside you for snuggles, and make herself part of every moment of your day. Sweet, loyal, and incredibly people-oriented, Nena thrives on love and attention.

She is also a smart, high-energy pup who enjoys enrichment activities, lick mats, chew toys, and tasty treats like sweet potato, peanut butter, and string cheese. Nena learns quickly and responds well to positive reinforcement and consistency.

Nena is still working on a few things, including crate training, leash reactivity, and separation anxiety, so she’ll do best with a patient adopter who can continue helping her build confidence and structure. She would thrive in a calmer home with a yard where she can safely run and play.

Because she can become possessive over toys and has shown reactivity toward cats, Nena would do best as the only pet in the home. With supervision, routine, and lots of love, Nena has so much potential to blossom into an incredible companion.
