Godiva is a sensitive soul who finds the big, wide world a little intimidating at times. While she can be shy with new people, once she knows she can trust you, she transforms into a loveable, Velcro-dog who just wants to be near her inner circle. She also has a secret side: she is a total clumsy goofball! Whether she's tumbling through play or "galloping" down the stairs with zero coordination, her physical comedy is guaranteed to keep you laughing.
While humans can be scary, other dogs are her safe haven. Godiva truly thrives in the company of other canines. She loves to run, zoom, and wrestle. Having a furry sibling helps her build confidence and teaches her that life isn't so scary after all.
Ideal Home
Godiva is looking for a patient family who can help her blossom. She would love a home with a confident, easygoing resident dog to show her the ropes and build her confidence. She would be happiest in a home with a secured yard or with someone willing to continue working on her leash skills, as busy or unfamiliar areas can still be a bit overwhelming for her. Someone who appreciates a "diamond in the rough" and a dog who might trip over her own paws would be the perfect match.

Training & Support
Godiva is making great strides in "being a house dog" and is looking for a patient family to help her cross the finish line. She is mostly house-trained but may have the occasional accident as she settles into a new routine. She is a pro once she's inside her crate, but mastering the game of "catch me if you can" when it's time to get in is a skill she's developed. A little bit of treat-motivated training will go a long way here.
