Amaya

Amaya was found as a stray and was brought into our care when the rural shelter she was at became full. Thankfully, a foster family opened their home to her, and we were able to save her life. She has been a wonderful companion since coming into foster care, and we know she’ll bring joy to her new family. Amaya is a sweet and gentle 1-year-old, approximately 60-pound Australian Cattle Dog mix.

Ideal Home

Amaya has been very sweet and gentle with children as young as 7. She is also cat friendly and gets along great with the cat in her foster home. She also gets along with every dog she meets.

Ongoing Health

Amaya is spayed, vaccinated for rabies, DHPP and Bordetella. She is also microchipped, heartworm negative, and is current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.

Training & Support

Amaya is house trained and leash trained. She has a laid-back personality and isn’t a high-energy girl. She enjoys walks.
