Ongoing Health

Homer will receive age-appropriate vaccinations and deworming before joining his new family. He will also have thorough vet checks and health care. He has been DNA tested for a variety of genetic conditions, including Canine Multifocal Retinopathy, Collie Eye Anomaly, Cone Degeneration, Dilated Cardiomyopathy, Hereditary Cataracts, Hyperuricosuria, Multidrug Resistance 1, Degenerative Myelopathy, Intestinal Cobalamin Malabsorption (Australian Shepherd and Border Collie Type), and Progressive Rod Cone Degeneration (which causes Progressive Retinal Atrophy). Copies of these lab reports will be provided.

As a puppy, Homer will benefit from continued training and socialization. His breeders are committed to being available at any time during his life to answer questions and address concerns.
