About Neptune

Neptune is a stunningly athletic and incredibly loving dog with a perfect blend of energy and a desire to cuddle. He'd be a fantastic companion for all sorts of adventures, from hiking and swimming to just lounging around. Neptune is a very social boy and enjoys the company of other dogs, showing a submissive nature towards them. His past has presented some challenges, but he's learning and growing every day with the support of his foster family. He's highly intelligent and eager to please, and with the right guidance, he's sure to blossom into an even more amazing companion.

Ideal Home

Neptune would thrive in an active, athletic household that can provide him with consistent tasks and plenty of exercise. A home with another confident, dog-friendly dog would be incredibly beneficial for his socialization and overall happiness. He needs a leader who can offer him security and positive guidance as he matures. Due to past reactions, Neptune is not recommended for homes with young children at this time.

Ongoing Health

No specific ongoing health conditions are mentioned in Neptune's listing.

Training & Support

Neptune responds well to confident and consistent leadership. He has a lot of initial energy that needs to be properly channeled through exercise and training to help him develop into a well-grounded dog. While he has had negative experiences with some male figures in the past, he has also shown positive interactions with men in public. Consistency and a positive approach are key to helping him build confidence.
