Meet SweetPea, a resilient and joyful 5-year-old girl who has truly defied the odds! Once facing euthanasia due to reported paralysis, SweetPea has made a remarkable recovery thanks to dedicated care including acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine. Now, she's back to her active self, enjoying daily walks, enrichment activities, and showing off her happy zoomies. SweetPea is also an incredibly affectionate companion, loving to cuddle up for belly rubs and quiet time with her favorite person. She truly shines as a special companion and is ready to bring light into your life.

Ideal Home

SweetPea will thrive as the only pet in the home, where she can be the center of your attention. She is not a fan of cats, so a no-cat household is a must. With her energetic personality, she would do well with older children who understand and appreciate her playful nature.

Ongoing Health

SweetPea's future adopter will need to continue her care with a veterinarian who can prescribe Chinese herbal medicine, which costs approximately $70 per month. While she hasn't needed acupuncture since her full recovery, it's a possibility for the future, so please keep this in mind for her long-term care.

Training & Support

SweetPea is making excellent progress with her potty training and will need a patient adopter who can continue to support her routine.
