Apple Cider

Apple Cider is a beautiful 2.5-year-old Shepherd and retriever mix who weighs around 50 lbs. She's a friendly girl who is looking for a fresh start and a loving home. Apple Cider is good on leash and knows how to sit. She's gentle with other dogs and would likely do well in a home with them. While we haven't seen her with cats or kids, we're happy to discuss integration techniques! Apple Cider dreams of sniffy walks and all the adventures she can have with her own humans. She promises to repay your love with adoring gazes and happy tail wags.

Apple Cider would love a home where she can feel safe and loved. She's looking for her forever family to share life's adventures with.

Ongoing Health

Apple Cider tested positive for heartworms but has been treated and is now a "Lucky Dog"! Heartworm is not contagious and, after treatment, dogs typically suffer no long-term effects as long as they are kept on monthly heartworm preventative. She will need to be kept calm for 4-6 weeks after treatment while she recovers.

Training & Support

Apple Cider is working on her crate training. We cannot guarantee if she is housebroken.
