Meet Dumplin Tender, Terrified, and Finally Safe

Dumplins story is heartbreaking but hopeful. She was dumped along the highway across from the Barrels and spent about a week hiding under the chicken shack, scared and unsure where to turn. After a concerned local reached out, Patrick and I went to get her and found a young pup absolutely terrified but desperate for safety.

Now that shes finally off the streets, Dumplin is beginning to relax and show her gentle spirit. Shes still cautious, but every day she gets a little braver, learning that hands can be kind, voices can be soft, and that shes no longer alone.

Dumplin has a sweet, tender heart, and with patience and love, shell grow into a loyal, trusting companion. Shes proof that even the most frightened pups can bloom when theyre finally shown compassion.

Before leaving Cortez Rescue, all dogs will be given a full medical assessment to ensure optimum health, current on vaccinations, and spayed/neutered. All dogs are micro-chipped before leaving Mexico.
