This handsome boy is waiting for his forever family! He’s a young, large, male American Staffordshire Terrier mix with a beautiful brown, black, and white coat. He’s ready to bring tons of love and fun into your home!

Ideal Home

We are unable to provide specific details about his temperament or needs, as dogs at the pound are strays and surrenders and are not health or temperament checked. It is recommended that any new dog be isolated from your pets at home until examined or tested by a veterinarian.

Ongoing Health

All dogs and puppies receive a 5-way shot. If you adopt a dog who has been vaccinated, it should not be given another parvo vaccination for at least two weeks. Please consult a veterinarian for more information about parvo. This dog is not yet spayed or neutered. Spaying and neutering offers many health and behavior benefits and lessens the overpopulation of homeless animals.

Training & Support

As this dog is from the pound, we do not have information on his house-training status or knowledge of basic commands. We recommend a patient and consistent approach to training.

• Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
• If multiple people are interested in a dog, a drawing will be held at 8:15 AM on the morning the dog is available.
• Adoption fees are $35 for senior/special need dogs, $40 for standard dogs, and $45 for puppies. Fees include the dog license and a microchip.

Transportation

This dog is located at the Carroll County Dog Pound, 2185 Kensington Rd. NE, Route 9, Carrollton, Ohio 44615. The pound is open Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM, except holidays. We are located southeast of the Akron/Canton area. The pound is not able to comply with requests to hold dogs.
