Mabel is a 2.5-year-old, 64-pound Pit Bull mix who is spayed and vaccinated. She was found abandoned and fearful but has blossomed into a sweet, adoring, and affectionate dog. Mabel loves to snuggle, give kisses, go for car rides, and receive attention. She is a happy, outgoing girl who is wonderful with people, including children. She has shown particular patience and sweetness with an autistic child. Mabel enjoys playing with other medium to large dogs and can be a bit overexcited during play, but she is learning her boundaries. She may pull on the leash when greeting other dogs but is improving her leash manners. Mabel would likely do well with a playful, tolerant dog companion or as the sole pet in the home. She would likely do best in a home without cats. Mabel is not destructive when left unsupervised and prefers to sleep with her people rather than in a crate. She may need a little extra patience and support during vet visits.
Ideal Home
Mabel's ideal home is one filled with love, cuddles, comfy couches, and people who appreciate a loyal, affectionate dog with a goofy personality and a huge heart. She would likely do best in a home without cats.
