Meet Sadie!

Sadie is an almost three-year-old Siberian Husky and German Shepherd mix with a heart full of love and a spirit ready for adventure! Her expressive eyes and joyful energy are just the beginning of what makes her so special. She’s a loyal and playful companion who enjoys fetch more than anything. Sadie can be a little reserved when meeting new people, but once she bonds with you, she’s a devoted friend who will greet you with a wagging tail and a happy grin. She's done wonderfully with children ages 3 to 9 and is particularly fond of women.

Ideal Home

Sadie would do best as the only pet in the home, as she is selective with other animals and has a history of altercations when introductions are not managed carefully. She can be unsure around overly playful or reactive dogs and is still learning appropriate dog play. While she's not reactive on leash or through fences, her new family will need to continue supporting her social development.

Ongoing Health

Sadie is a healthy girl who is crate trained and house-trained. She eats twice a day and is motivated by food, which is a great asset for training! A consistent routine is key for her, as rainy days can sometimes lead to an occasional potty accident.

Training & Support

Sadie knows basic commands like "sit" and walks well on leash. She is eager to please and learns quickly. When meeting new people, offering her a toy or a treat can help her feel more comfortable. Patience and positive reinforcement will be key to her continued social development.
