Dodger

Dodger is a sweet, friendly young male dog who came to us as a stray. He was found with two chain collars embedded in his neck, suggesting he may have been an outdoor dog previously. Despite his tough start, Dodger is incredibly friendly and has met people of all ages with a wagging tail. He absolutely adores belly rubs and can often be found happily playing with a tennis ball. He even has a knack for fashion and can be dressed up for any occasion!

Ideal Home

Dodger would thrive in a home where someone is around often, as he doesn't like to be alone. He also does well with other calm, friendly dogs and would love a canine companion to play with. However, Dodger does have a strong prey drive and will chase cats, so a cat-free home is a must. Due to his climbing abilities, Dodger would need to be walked on a leash or not left unsupervised outside.

Training & Support

Dodger is not yet house-trained and will need ongoing guidance in this area. He has a tendency to climb fences, so he'll need to be managed with leash walks or supervised outdoor time.
