Ollie is a sweet and resilient two-year-old Malti-Chon (Maltese–Bichon Frise mix) with a fluffy white coat and a heart bursting with love. He was rescued by The Fuzzy Pet Foundation (TFPF) after his previous owner, who acquired him from a breeder, realized they couldn't adequately care for a growing puppy. Sadly, Ollie spent much of his early life in isolation in a garage, often fed scraps and sweets, with very little exercise or mental stimulation. While he never experienced physical abuse, he did suffer from neglect by someone who didn't understand a puppy's needs.
Today, Ollie's courageous spirit truly shines! He's now in foster care and is absolutely thriving. He's affectionate, playful, curious, and full of life. Ollie loves to follow his people around from room to room, enjoys snuggling up close, and is a big fan of a good game of fetch. He gets along wonderfully with other small dogs and is even fine with cats. He's a non-reactive and gentle soul with not a mean bone in his body. Weighing around 14 pounds, he's the perfect size for cuddles on the couch or for accompanying you on outdoor adventures.
Ideal Home
Ollie will do best in a nurturing, stable home. Because of his sensitive past, he would prefer a home without young, rambunctious children, as they might overwhelm or accidentally injure him. He's looking for adopters who are prepared for a young, active dog and have the time, energy, and commitment to meet his daily exercise and enrichment needs. Preference will be given to those with a strong record of responsible pet ownership, including consistent veterinary and grooming care.
Ongoing Health
Ollie is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and is in excellent health.
Training & Support
Ollie is fully potty-trained and is a quick learner, especially when offered praise and consistency. He thrives in a calm, safe environment where he can continue to build his confidence and flourish.
