Meet Jasmine!
Jasmine is a wise and wonderful American Staffordshire Terrier/German Shepherd mix, estimated to be between six-and-a-half and seven-and-a-half years old. Her golden coat glows as warmly as her loyal heart. With a personality as rich as her heritage, Jasmine is a bright, affectionate girl who thrives in a world of structure, calm, and confident guidance. She is a devoted cuddlebug who adores belly rubs, sunbathing, and curling up beside you after a long walk. Her days run best on a reliable rhythm; she prefers two meals a day, regular walks, and lots of loving connection with her trusted human. Jasmine has made truly remarkable progress with a professional trainer and gets along great with other dogs, participating in daily pack walks with seven or more dogs, handling them beautifully. She is now completely relaxed around both dogs and humans. Any past aggression rooted in anxiety has been fully addressed through training, and she is now calm, stable, and free of previous behavioral issues. She’s also off all anxiety medication and flourishing in a consistent, supportive routine. She knows commands like sit, down, stay, wait, come, heel, touch, and place, and she responds exceptionally well to positive reinforcement paired with firm, kind leadership. Jasmine’s past included a few bite incidents related to anxiety and protective instincts, but under professional guidance, those behaviors are no longer present. She has shown sustained stability and emotional growth and is ready to move forward into her next chapter!
