Star

Meet Star! This approximately 6-year-old, 12.4lb Chihuahua/Dachshund mix is a sweet girl looking for her forever home. Star was surrendered when her owner had to move into assisted living. She can be a little shy when she first meets new people, but once she warms up, she is incredibly affectionate, loyal, and laid-back. She gets along well with other dogs and cats. While she is generally good with people, she can be nervous around small children, so we feel she would do best in a quiet home.

Star would thrive in a quiet home environment where she can feel comfortable and safe.

Ongoing Health

Star is spayed, heartworm negative, microchipped, and up-to-date on all vaccinations and preventatives. She previously had cherry eye, which has been successfully repaired.

Training & Support

Star is already crate trained and is doing well with her leash and house training. With a little continued patience and consistency, she'll master these in no time!
