Meet Harlow! This gentle 6.5-year-old Miniature Poodle has a heart of gold and is searching for a quiet, patient home where she can truly blossom. Harlow can be a little shy at first, preferring to approach new people on her own terms. She'll thrive with adopters who understand that building trust takes time and kindness, so a predictable routine in a calm household will help her feel most secure.

Once Harlow feels safe, her true devoted companion nature shines through! She loves to cuddle and will happily follow her favorite person around, cherishing those close connections. She enjoys the simple things in life, like enthusiastically emptying the toy basket (even if the toys aren't her main interest!), watching the world go by from a sunny window, or rolling in the grass. Harlow gets along wonderfully with her foster sisters and seems to enjoy the company of other female dogs. However, she'd prefer a home without male dogs.

Ideal Home

Harlow would do best in an adult-only home or one with older, calm, dog-savvy teens who can respect her need for personal space. A secure, fenced-in yard is a must for her. She does not seem to care for male dogs and would likely do best in a home without them.

Training & Support

Harlow walks nicely on a leash and has excellent house manners. While car rides can still make her a bit nervous, she does better when she can see out the window. Her new family will be key to helping her continue to build confidence.
