Avie

Avie is a wonderful, loving, and well-mannered girl who is just waiting for her forever home. She came to us from a shelter that was flooded a year ago, along with her six puppies. Now that her pups have all found their homes and are celebrating their first birthdays, it’s Avie’s turn! She enjoys being with her people, not in an overbearing way, and greets everyone with happy, full-body wiggles. She’s a complete sweetheart who loves snuggles and belly rubs. Avie is gentle and affectionate with children and loves to play with other dogs, greeting them with a friendly demeanor. She is housebroken and sleeps out of her crate at night without any accidents or destructive behavior. Avie is intelligent and eager to please; she already knows "sit" and "fetch," and she's learning more commands. She walks beautifully on a leash and enjoys playing outdoors. Avie can be a bit shy when she first meets new people, but with a canine sibling to help her feel more comfortable and a little patience, she will blossom into the most loyal and sweet companion you could ask for. Avie will be three soon, and we would love for her to celebrate her birthday in her forever home!

Avie is housebroken and crate trained, knows "sit" and "fetch," and is learning more commands. She can be a bit shy initially but will warm up with patience and a canine friend.
