About Atlas Moose the Floppy Eared Goober

Atlas Moose is the kind of puppy that makes you laugh within the first five minutes of meeting him. Maybe it's the giant floppy ears, or the tail that's practically as long as the rest of him, or the fact that he can somehow detect a treat from what feels like three zip codes away. Whatever it is, this boy has personality for days. He's goofy, happy, affectionate, and still very much figuring out how to navigate life with those oversized puppy feet. Atlas Moose is approximately 5 months old, currently weighs around 42 lbs, and we believe he may be a German Shepherd/Bloodhound mix. He's sweet, loving, curious, playful, and always ready to have a good time. One minute he's bouncing around playing with a toy, and the next he's happily soaking up affection. He has a wonderfully happy-go-lucky personality and approaches life with the enthusiasm that only a puppy can have. Atlas is both a toy lover and a foodie. He loves treats and gets genuinely excited when snacks are involved, which will make him a blast to continue training. He also loves toys, especially balls, and has already mastered the game of fetch!

Ideal Home

Atlas would do best in a home with a backyard where he has room to run, play fetch, stretch those long legs, and burn off energy. He's going to need a family committed to training and socialization. He would likely do well as an only dog or with another medium to large dog that enjoys playful puppy energy, as he enjoys wrestling and playing.

Ongoing Health

Atlas is a healthy puppy and has received all age-appropriate vetting, including vaccinations, deworming, flea/tick prevention, and he has been spayed/neutered.

Training & Support

Atlas is working on crate training and is doing great learning where the appropriate potty places are. Like any puppy his age, he'll need continued consistency, routine, and structure as he grows. His food motivation will make him a blast to continue training.
