Potato is a 6-year-old, 7-pound Chihuahua mix and an absolute sweetheart. He is a devoted cuddle bug who loves burrowing, napping, positive praise, and staying close to his person. Potato is city-friendly, calm indoors, and enjoys accompanying his human throughout the day. He is comfortable around other dogs, cats, and children of most ages with adult supervision.

Ideal Home

Potato would be a wonderful companion for someone who enjoys a gentle, affectionate dog and can include him in daily life. He is especially well suited to a quieter home or someone working from home. He needs a few short walks each day for potty breaks and stretching his legs.

Ongoing Health

Potato is neutered, microchipped, and healthy as far as known. He is up to date on DHPP, Bordetella, and rabies vaccinations and was treated with dewormer upon intake. Dogs arriving from Tennessee or Puerto Rico are heartworm tested.

Training & Support

Potato is house trained with few or no accidents, crate trained, and has good leash manners. He does not jump on people or dogs and has little interest in chewing. He may whine briefly in his crate but settles quickly.
