Hi there, I'm Lucy! I'm a sweet and silly medium-sized mix with big, soulful eyes and a heart full of love. Not too long ago, I was found injured and alone on the side of the highway in Miami, FL. It was a tough start, but thanks to some wonderful people, I've come a long way! I spent a lot of time recovering, learning to walk again, and gaining strength. Now, I'm about a year old, healthy, happy, and ready to find my forever family. I'm a bit of a "Velcro dog" in the best way possible – I absolutely love being near my people and showering them with affection. I also love other dogs and would be happiest with a playful canine companion to share adventures with. I'm incredibly grateful for every moment and wake up excited to be alive, but all I'm missing now is someone to give me the love I've been waiting for. Could that be you?

I've been through a lot, but I'm now healthy and happy. I'm still gaining weight and building muscle, but I'm doing great!
