• Prefers to explore and do their own thing here in the shelter, but will likely open up more once they're in a home environment and have had time to decompress

• Loves people and activity and likes to be at the center of whatever's going on

• Enjoys spending time with dogs who have a similar play style

• Tends to be an introvert around other dogs and may prefer one-on-one interactions or smaller groups of dog friends; may not be comfortable at dog parks or at large, dog-friendly events (dog intro recommended)

• Smart boy knows sit and shake

• Does well on a leash

• Young, noisy or busy children can be too much for them (mature home recommended)

The ARL's shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing a primary breed.
