Cleopatra

Cleopatra is a 3-year-old pit bull terrier mix with a calm demeanor and the sweetest, goofiest grin. She was rescued from a Los Angeles shelter and is now happily settled in a foster home. Cleo doesn't need to be the center of attention, but she has a way of quietly becoming the best part of your day. She walks beautifully on leash with minimal pulling and settles into new routines with ease. Once she feels comfortable, she's a cuddly and loyal companion who loves to be close to her person.

Ideal Home

Cleopatra is a little shy when meeting new people and prefers to take things at her own pace. She would do best in a home without young children; an adult-only household or one with older children would be ideal. While she's currently the only pet in her foster home, she would likely do well with a calm, respectful dog companion. Her history with cats is unknown.

Ongoing Health

Cleopatra is spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Cleopatra is working with a trainer on mild on-leash reactivity when passing barking dogs behind fences, and she is making excellent progress. This is not a temperament issue, but rather something that requires a patient handler who understands that a little structure goes a long way.
