Meet Harvey!

Harvey is a young puppy who we believe may be a German Shepherd/Doberman mix, though as with many rescue pups, his exact breed blend is unknown. What we can say for certain is that Harvey is an incredibly special little guy who is already showing all the signs of becoming an amazing companion.

Harvey is currently thriving in a foster home where hes getting a head start on learning how to be the very best boy. Hes not only sweet and loving, but hes also incredibly smart. This handsome pup already knows commands like sit, down, and leave it, and hes working hard on learning even more every day. His foster family says he walks beautifully on a leash and absolutely loves training sessions.

One of Harvey's favorite things in the world is earning treats. This boy is highly food motivated and genuinely enjoys learning new things. He has the kind of eager-to-please personality that makes training fun, rewarding, and surprisingly easy. Whether you're interested in basic manners, advanced obedience, trick training, or even dog sports someday, Harvey is the kind of puppy who is excited to learn alongside you.

Of course, Harvey isn't all work and no play. He's also a puppy through and through. He absolutely loves toys and is already fantastic at entertaining himself. Whether he's tossing a toy around, chewing on a favorite stuffie, or proudly carrying one around the house, Harvey knows how to have fun.

And when playtime is over, Harvey transforms into a world-class cuddle bug. He loves snuggling with his people and is happiest when hes curled up in a lap soaking up affection. Despite his intelligence and drive, hes also a soft, loving puppy who simply wants to be close to the people he loves.

Harvey currently lives in a home environment and is doing wonderfully. He has been exposed to both dogs and cats in his foster home. While he's generally separated from the resident pets due to some of the spicier personalities in the household, he has seen and interacted with them and has also enjoyed playtime with other dogs outside of the home.

As if his personality wasn't enough, Harvey is absolutely adorable. He has a sleek black coat, adorable tan eyebrows that give him endless expressions, little tan socks, and the kind of handsome face that turns heads everywhere he goes. He looks like a perfect blend of elegance and puppy sweetness.

We understand that bringing a puppy home is a big decision, and we want to set both you and Harvey up for success. Puppies require time, patience, and consistency. They benefit from crate training, daily structure, early socialization, and positive reinforcement to learn important life skills like potty training, leash walking, and basic manners. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system, ensuring every pet travel safely and comfortably with 24/7 care. Our transport includes drop off locations, in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for for Canadian adopters). You will have the opportunity to track their journey in real time, see photo updates, learn fun facts, connect with fellow adopters and fosters through our private Facebook event page!

Before the adoption is finalized, you will meet your pet through a video call, creating a fun and personalized experience!

The adoption fee is $1000 and includes all vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12 month heartworm preventative injectable, heartworm test and treatment if needed, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and priceless years of love and loyal companionship!

At our 2 acre Texas based property, we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group training and socialization play groups helping them stay confident, well rounded, and adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers are dedicated to each dogs growth and we enjoy seeing their progress!

We go above and beyond to ensure every animal receives exceptional care. Veterinarians consistently praise our medical standards. From routine care to advanced treatments, each dog receives personalized attention. Hard costs for a healthy dog range from $804-$920; heartworm-positive dogs or those needing specialized care can exceed $2,000+. Adoption fees help cover a portion of these expenses, but without government funding, we rely on fundraising to bridge the gap ranging from $100 - $1,000+ per dog.

Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.
