GRACE

Meet Grace! This sweet girl is a young, female, mixed-breed dog with a heart full of love to give. Grace came to us from a difficult situation where she was the last dog on the euthanasia list at Contra Costa County Animal Services. Thankfully, she was rescued and brought into a loving foster home where, with patience and consistency, she has truly blossomed. Grace is an active and adventurous companion who absolutely loves hiking, swimming, and running alongside a bike. She's also ecollar-trained for off-leash activities and has formed a strong bond with her handler.

Ideal Home

Grace is a sensitive soul who thrives in a calm and predictable environment. She would do best in a home without other pets, as she doesn't do well with other dogs, likely due to past trauma and her shelter experience. She needs a safe space where she doesn't have to share her territory.

Ongoing Health

Grace is spayed, vaccinated, and appears to be in good health.

Training & Support

Grace is ecollar-trained for off-leash work and has a strong bond with her handler. She would thrive with an experienced owner who understands the importance of structure, leadership, and can continue to provide the stability she needs to feel safe and confident.
