If you are looking for a dog who embodies peace, kindness, and a touch of "old soul" wisdom, meet Mimi. Despite her young age, Mimi isn't your typical high-energy teenager. She is a gentle, laid-back lady who seems to take it upon herself to make sure everyone around her feels safe and loved. Mimi has a natural instinct to care for others and is incredibly patient and gentle, making her an ideal companion for people of all ages—from the tiniest toddlers to seniors. Whether it’s other dogs or humans, Mimi greets the world with a wagging tail and a calm heart. She is the definition of "mellow." While she enjoys a nice stroll, Mimi is happiest when she’s lounging nearby, keeping a watchful and loving eye on her family.

Mimi is a gentle soul who would do well in a home with people of all ages, including children. She also gets along well with other dogs.

Ongoing Health

Mimi is currently Heartworm positive, but don't let that discourage you! She is completely asymptomatic (acting totally healthy and happy) and has already started her treatment. The rescue is committed to Mimi’s journey to full health and will provide her heartworm treatment at no cost to the adopter until she tests negative. You provide the home and the love; the rescue handles the medicine.
