Pippin

Meet Pippin! This sweet, lanky 7-month-old Black Mouth Cur mix is ready to find his forever family! Pippin was rescued after being hit by a car and is now fully recovered from hip surgery, so his injured leg no longer slows him down at all, though he may carry a bit of a swagger! He's a smart and quick learner, very food-motivated, and gently takes treats. Pippin is a very happy boy who smiles at everyone he meets and loves to snuggle with his people. He also enjoys car rides and does great in the car!

Ideal Home

Pippin would likely do well in a home with children old enough to know how to respect their dog friends and who may not easily knocked over. He also enjoys playing with other dogs and would do great in a home with a canine companion who enjoys playing. Pippin is looking for a home that will appreciate his youthful exuberance and have the know-how and patience to train him to be the wonderful companion he was born to be.

Ongoing Health

Pippin is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. He is also heartworm negative.

Training & Support

Pippin is house and kennel trained and willingly obeys his "kennel up" command. He already knows "sit" and would happily learn more tricks. He eats and sleeps in his crate all night.
