Domino is a delightful Pit Bull Terrier mix, weighing in at a sturdy 51lbs, who is ready to wiggle her way into your heart! She's the perfect blend of an independent spirit and a loyal companion, just waiting for the right person to guide her. Domino may take a moment to warm up, but once she trusts you, she'll be your ever-present, furry shadow. She's an adventure buddy who enjoys both hiking and claiming her fair share of the couch for naps. Domino is a pro-level houseguest, already knowing the rules, reliably pottying outside, and considering her crate her personal sanctuary. She's also been around children and is unfazed by the happy chaos of a busy home.
Ideal Home
Domino would do best in a home with medium to low-energy dogs who understand and respect her personal space. She is also happy to be the only dog in the household. A fenced-in yard is a must for her to safely zoom and express her joyful wiggles. Domino is not a fan of cats and is looking for a cat-free environment.
Ongoing Health
Domino is generally healthy. All vetting, including vaccinations, deworming, spay/neuter, flea and heartworm prevention, and microchipping, is included in the adoption fee.
Training & Support
Domino is already house-trained and crate-trained. She is still perfecting her leash manners and would benefit from continued positive reinforcement. She is a smart and eager-to-please girl who will thrive with a consistent and loving leader.

Transporation
Domino is located in the Houston area of Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue-run USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada (with pickup options in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). You will be able to track your pet's journey in real-time. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
