Barkarella

Barkarella is a sweet 9-year-old, 16-pound lady with a gentle personality. She can be a bit shy when she first meets new people, but once she warms up, she blossoms into an awesome companion. She has a slight issue with her sight, so it's important to take things slow with her as she adjusts to her new surroundings.

Ideal Home

Barkarella would likely thrive in a quiet home, preferably with older children. She needs a patient and understanding environment where she can continue to build confidence and grow at her own pace. We are unsure how she would do with other dogs or cats.

Ongoing Health

Barkarella is currently receiving supplements to help alleviate any joint pain that may come with age. All our animals are provided with age-appropriate vaccinations, spayed/neutered, and microchipped prior to adoption.

Training & Support

Barkarella's shyness is not a flaw, but a part of her journey. With patience and consistency, she makes incredible progress. Watching her build confidence will be a rewarding experience.

• Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
• You can also visit us in person on Fridays or Saturdays from 10 AM to 4 PM.
• We process applications in person or over the phone.
• An approved application and a deposit will hold your new best friend for up to 1 week. This deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable, and it is not applied to the adoption fee.
