Meet our whimsical girl, Wisteria!
Wisteria is a sweet soul whose superpower is her ability to bring calm comfort and melt away anxiety for every person she meets. At 9 years old and just 40 lbs, Wisteria is a gentle girl who is eagerly prepared to trade the hardships of her past for a lifetime of loving a new family. She has the kindest soul and it is evident in each of her slow and steady steps she takes beside you on a loose leash. Wisteria enjoys being above the hustle and bustle of chaotic life and is content taking life at a leisurely pace, especially if it means she has a home where she can finally relax. Wisteria is unearthly gentle, having never shown any defensive or aggressive tendencies. She is sweet as pie to everyone she meets – adults, kids, and dogs alike. Wisteria's favorite place to be is curled up next to her person, and she's happy to coexist quietly as long as she's allowed to.
Don't let Wisteria's age be all she's known for, however. Wisteria has mastered her "sit" and "shake" commands and is always very proud to show off her manners! She is an easy, breezy walker on leash, completely unbothered by other dogs or city life, remaining calm when passing by stimuli on walks and never showing any signs of reactivity.

Wisteria is healing from a lifetime of neglect and is receiving all the necessary medical care. She has an upcoming vet visit for full medical clearance. With love, a soft place to land, and a nutritious diet, Wisteria's outside will soon be as beautiful as her inner beauty.
Training & Support
Wisteria has mastered "sit" and "shake." She is fully crate trained, okay to be left home alone, and shows some understanding of being housebroken. She will likely master this completely with time and consistency in a new environment.
