Tara

Tara is an 8-month-old, 20-pound puppy who has had a challenging start in life. She's now blossoming, learning to play with other dogs, showing her playful side, and building trust with people.

Ideal Home

Tara would thrive in a home with at least one other dog to help her learn doggy manners. She also needs a patient and loving family to help her continue to build confidence and trust. We are unsure how she would do with children.

Ongoing Health

Tara is up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, is spayed, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Tara is still learning and would benefit from continued positive reinforcement and guidance as she gains more confidence.

• Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
• Our adoption fee is $300.
• With an approved application, a deposit can hold your new best friend for up to 1 week. This deposit is not refundable nor transferable and is not applied to the adoption fee.

Transportation

Tara is located at PAWS in Jacksonville, IL. We are open for visits and applications on Fridays and Saturdays from 10 AM to 4 PM. Please call to leave a message, and a volunteer will return your call as soon as possible.
