Zoey

Zoey is a regal 9-year-old Shar Pei mix with dramatic rolls and a flair for the fabulous. She lived a pampered life until her beloved owner passed away, and she found herself in the shelter. After some time and plenty of booty scratches, she's emerged ready for the extravagance she deserves! Zoey is a queen who loves butt scratches, snuggling, toys, and napping. She enjoys fine dining of cooked chicken and wet food, and will happily walk with you until the road ends. She's a fully house-trained icon who is getting really good at "Drop It" with her toys, which she loves to play with.

Ideal Home

Zoey would prefer to be the only pup in your home so she can get all your love and attention. She would prefer to live with older children, as she doesn't want her toys mixed up with theirs. She'd thrive with someone who enjoys the golden-hour slowness of life, a few leisurely walks a day, and possibly sharing their sandwich. She likes her space when playing with toys and expects appropriate trades when it's time to put them away.

Ongoing Health

Zoey has had gastric obstruction surgery due to eating socks, so keep laundry away from her. She is spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Zoey has known dislikes, including socks, which she will eat, and having her paws handled. She also dislikes sharing things with other dogs or having her stuff taken away without proper warning.

Transporation
