Rufus

Rufus is a sweet, mixed-breed mystery, likely a blend of Lab, Cattle Dog, and other breeds. At about 1.8 years old, he was rescued from a euthanasia list at a Texas shelter. He's a gentle soul with a sturdy frame, soulful eyes, and a heart full of affection. Rufus is social and kind, doing wonderfully with other dogs of all sizes and showing no aggression towards farm animals, even gently greeting pigs through fences. He's a joy to walk on leash, attentive, and eager to please. Rufus loves to give kisses and lean into his people for affection. He is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccines. Rufus is heartworm positive but has already begun slow-kill treatment.
