REX, a.k.a Rexie the Bestie, a volunteer FAV

Meet Rex, a.k.a. Rexie the Bestie! This handsome 68lb Black Lab mix, born around September 2020, is a bubbly and outgoing guy who absolutely lives to run, play, and receive praise for being a good boy. He's a champion snuggler who believes he's a lap dog, despite his nearly 70lb frame, and guarantees 24/7 kisses. Rex is a volunteer favorite because he easily climbs into laps and showers everyone with affection.

Rescued as a stray, Rex has overcome a difficult past and is now ready to share his immense love with a forever family. He's a social butterfly, excelling at adoption events, charming visitors at an Astros watch party and even enjoying dinner at a dog-friendly restaurant with his best buddy, Bambi.

Rex is looking for a loving home where he can continue to share his sweet nature.

Ongoing Health

Rex is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered.

Training & Support

Rex is kennel and potty trained. He is dog selective and friendly with other dogs, especially females, after proper introductions.

Transportation is available to your state or a neighboring state, with ground transport services operating weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states. You'll be able to track your dog's journey via the Life360 app and participate in Facebook chat groups for updates. Please be prepared to utilize these tracking methods if you choose transport.
