About Riley

Riley is a big boy, born around May 6, 2017, who gets along great with other dogs. He is a loving companion but has not been taught appropriate behaviors, which can sometimes lead to snapping when he is unhappy. He is currently in training to address this, and his new family will need to be a strong, alpha presence to help him continue to succeed. Young children are not recommended for Riley's new home.

Riley would thrive in a home with an experienced owner who can provide a consistent, alpha presence. He gets along well with other dogs. Young children are not recommended for his new home.

Ongoing Health

Riley is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Riley is currently in training to help address his snapping behavior when he doesn't like something. He will need an "alpha person" in his new home to help him maintain appropriate behavior. As with all dogs from this rescue, free training is available if needed in his new home. The rescue will also take Riley back at any time if it doesn’t work out for any reason.
