Courage

Courage is a sweet boy who is still learning that people and handling can be safe, and that life is so much more than inside the kennel. New environments, loud noises, and quick movements can be overwhelming for him right now. He is not ready to be a confident, outgoing dog and will need a calm, predictable home where he can decompress without expectations. Courage is a "watch and wait" kind of dog; he prefers to observe from a safe distance and take his time deciding what feels okay. He will need a patient adopter who understands that trust may take a long time to build, but every small step forward is a big win for him.

Ongoing Health

All dogs and puppies have been vaccinated for Distemper and Bordetella, dewormed and microchipped. If old enough, they will be vaccinated for Rabies and blood tested for Heartworm, Lymes, Anaplasmosis and Ehrlichiosis. All dogs and puppies will be spayed or neutered before adoption.

Training & Support

Courage is still learning about the world and will need a patient adopter to help build trust.
