Dottie is a charming and sensitive 1-year-old, 30-pound girl who's ready to find her forever home. While the world can feel a little overwhelming for Dottie at times, her true, playful personality truly shines when she's around other dogs and people she trusts. She has plenty of puppy energy and loves to engage in playful roughhousing. Dottie is looking for a patient and understanding home where she can continue to build her confidence and learn that new experiences can be wonderful.

Ideal Home

Dottie requires a home with an established, confident, and playful dog sibling who can serve as a positive role model. She thrives in a low-pressure, patient environment where she has the space and time to decompress and learn that new things aren't so scary. She is not going to be a lap dog right away, and that's perfectly okay.

Ongoing Health

Dottie has been spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Dottie is a star student with a great foundation! She is fully potty trained and kennel trained, comfortably sleeping in her kennel and staying in it when you're away. She's also doing well on walks and her leash manners are improving. Dottie is highly food-motivated, which makes training a fun and effective experience. She takes treats gently and enjoys pets and scratches once she feels safe and comfortable.
