About Finn

Meet Finn! πŸ€ Finn is a 7-year-old, 100-pound Lab mix with a heart as big as her frame. Born on St. Patrick's Day, she's a lucky charm waiting to bring joy to her forever family! Finn is incredibly smart and eager to please, knowing all her basic commands like sit, stay, down, come, heel, off, and no, and even responding to hand signals. She's currently working on "settle" when her excitement bubbles over.

Finn is a wonderful walking companion, confidently enjoying 2-mile walks and doing great on a halti and martingale collar. She's trained to walk safely away from traffic on either side. At home, Finn has a big personality! She quickly learned to use the doggy door and politely asks for permission to go out. Her cutest habit is greeting you with a toy and full-body wiggles whenever you come home. If a toy isn't available, she might grab a shoe, so we're working on "drop it" to have her proudly place it at your feet.

Finn gets along well with other dogs, cats, and people and is learning to be a calm "community dog" around neighbors. She takes her role as household watch dog seriously from her favorite spot at the bottom of the stairs. She's doing well with car rides and will let you know when she needs a break, and with continued routine, she'll be the perfect travel buddy. If you're looking for a loyal, loving, and delightfully goofy companion who will greet you like you're the best part of her day, every day, Finn is your girl! πŸΎπŸ’š
