BRIGHTON

Meet Brighton, a brave and affectionate approximately 2-year-old, 11lb Maltese mix who is ready to find his forever home! Brighton arrived at a local shelter after sustaining a gunshot wound to his front leg, which sadly had to be amputated. But don't let that slow you down - Brighton is a true trooper and has adapted wonderfully to being a tripod! He gets around with ease, happily hopping onto cars and couches, and nothing seems to faze him. Brighton is his foster mom's best friend, following her everywhere and loving to snuggle on her lap. He sleeps soundly on her bed at night. He gets along with other dogs, though he's not overly playful with them, and he seems to happily ignore the foster's cats. He is house-trained and walks well on a leash. This sweet boy is looking for a home where he can receive all the TLC he deserves.

Ideal Home

Brighton needs a home where he can get lots of TLC. We do not adopt to anyone with children under the age of 8 years and he must go to an experienced dog owner.

Ongoing Health

Brighton's leg was amputated due to an injury. He is spayed/neutered, up to date on all shots and boosters, microchipped, and on monthly heartworm and flea/tick preventatives.

Training & Support

Brighton is house-trained and walks well on a leash.
