Meet Venus! She's a sweet and affectionate 5-year-old Staffordshire Terrier/Lab mix, weighing around 45 lbs. Venus is a calm and people-oriented girl who loves to be close to her humans, resting her head on your lap and gazing at you with adoration. She's happy to match your energy, whether you're relaxing on the couch or heading out for an adventure. Venus enjoys playing with other dogs and especially loves backyard zoomies with a canine companion. She also adores toys and playing with her people, often letting out a little "woo" of excitement. Water is her element; she'll happily splash around in a kiddie pool or stream. Venus is a great car rider, making her the perfect co-pilot for road trips and excursions.
Ideal Home
Venus would thrive in a home where she's a cherished family member. She would do best in a home without cats, as she shows a strong interest in chasing them. While she hasn't met young children, she might do well with older, respectful kids who understand boundaries and want to include her in daily activities.
Ongoing Health
Venus is spayed and up-to-date on vaccinations. She eats with enthusiasm and benefits from a slow feeder to manage her meals.
Training & Support
Venus is house-trained, crate-trained, and can be trusted loose in the house. She's learning leash manners and can pull sometimes, but she's a quick learner and is very food motivated.

Transporation
Venus is currently being fostered in Woodinville, WA and is available for meet and greets with local adopters. For those outside Washington, out-of-state adoption is possible once an approved adopter is lined up. Transports run every few weeks, and approved dogs will be on the next available transport.
