Meet Ranger!

A spirited two-and-a-half-year-old Australian Cattle Dog, Ranger is a vibrant burst of loyalty wrapped in a striking blue coat. This intelligent 60-pound boy is always ready for his next adventure! Ranger is house trained, neutered, and up to date on vaccinations. He can be wary of new people at first, especially men, but with a toy and a treat, his playful heart shines through. With patience and structured play, he warms up beautifully and forms strong bonds.

Ideal Home

Ranger would do best as the only pet in a loving home, as he is selective with dogs and not compatible with cats. He is looking for a caring environment with space to run and a family who enjoys staying active.

Training & Support

Ranger knows sit, stay, lie down, shake, quiet, and drop it. He learns quickly and thrives with positive reinforcement, especially when snacks are involved! He is highly food motivated and may try to sneak a treat if one is within reach. Fetch is his absolute favorite pastime; balls and sticks are treasures, while frisbees are uninteresting. He needs one to two hours of daily ball play in a large, fenced yard to keep his mind and body happy. Without enough activity, he can become bored and a little whiny.
