Goyito is a small Schnauzer mix with a big heart, weighing in at approximately 12 lbs and estimated to be around 3-4 years old. He’s a cheerful, playful, and affectionate boy who just loves to give and receive kisses and cuddles. Goyito is a social butterfly and gets along wonderfully with dogs, children, men, and women. He can be a little shy and bark at new people initially, but once he feels safe, his sweet and loving personality truly shines.
Goyito’s past is a bit sad; he was abandoned by his family and even hit by a car. Despite these hardships, he’s a survivor who has never lost his joyful spirit or his capacity for love. He’s now safe, obedient, and overflowing with affection, just waiting for a family to call his own. Adopting Goyito means offering peace to a soul that has always believed in love.
Ideal Home
Goyito would thrive in a home with a fenced backyard and an active family that enjoys spending time outdoors. He needs a family with a genuine intention to rescue and a deep understanding of the needs and behaviors of rescued animals, including their need for protection and education. Experience with dog behavior and training is highly preferred, or a commitment to hiring a trainer to help this intelligent dog reach his full potential. A high level of tolerance and patience for rescued puppies is also essential.
Ongoing Health
Goyito has undergone an extensive health protocol including:
- Spay/Neuter Certificate
- 2 DHPPI Vaccines
- Rabies Vaccine
- Bordetella Vaccine
- Deworming
- Microchip
- 4DX Test and Certificate
- Heartworm Test Negative Certificate
- Monthly Preventive Protection (Nexgard Spectra for fleas, ticks, and heartworm)
- Health Certificate
- Vaccines booklet
Please be aware that rescued dogs may require an adjustment period and may not be house-trained.
Training & Support
Goyito is not house-trained. Rescued dogs often need time and patience to adjust to new environments and learn house manners. Establishing a routine and clear boundaries will help him feel secure. A family willing to work with him on training or hire a professional trainer will be key to his success.
