Meet Sunny, a charming 9-year-old, 70lb pittie mix with a heart as big as his personality! Sunny is a joyful and affectionate boy who truly lives up to his name. He's a playful goofball with an infectious zest for life, always eager to share his happiness through kisses, tricks, and playtime. Sunny's been living with a professional trainer, so he's got a solid foundation in obedience, knowing commands like sit, down, stay, and place. He's also house-trained and crate-trained, settling down nicely for 6-8 hours overnight. His food motivation makes him a quick and eager learner, and he loves continuing to expand his repertoire of skills.
Ideal Home
Sunny has a moderate energy level and would thrive in an active home where he can join in on daily walks, playtime, and family activities. He walks well on a leash but can get excited and pull when he sees other dogs, though he refocuses with calm guidance. He enjoys playing with medium to large dogs but needs slow introductions and continued guidance as he can be overly enthusiastic. He would also be happy being the sole canine companion. Sunny loves meeting new people and can get a bit mouthy when excited, so he would do best in a home with older, dog-savvy children (10+) who can help reinforce good manners and respect his boundaries. His ideal home is with an active family or couple who will continue his training, provide structure, and shower him with the love and affection he craves.
Ongoing Health
Sunny is neutered.
Training & Support
Sunny has an excellent foundation in obedience and is eager to continue learning due to his food motivation. He can become excited when he sees other dogs and may pull or lunge, though he redirects with calm guidance. He can also get mouthy when excited and would benefit from guidance with older children.
