Sherpa Throw

Sherpa is a 2-3 year old, 80lb bundle of playful energy! He was found in rough shape, but after months of dedicated medical care, Sherpa made a full recovery and his vibrant personality is shining through. He's an intelligent and diligent dog with a touch of independence, much like a true working dog. Sherpa is friendly and enjoys the company of similar-sized dogs, though he often prefers to explore or focus on his own tasks. He's a sweet boy who aims to please, but he's still learning appropriate social skills as he matures.

Sherpa is a heartworm survivor and has made a complete recovery.

Training & Support

Sherpa is currently attending Instinct Dog Behavior and Training, where he's doing wonderfully with scent work and improving his communication skills. His new family will receive 8 FREE private training sessions with Instinct's trainers, which can be done in-person (for those in NYC or willing to travel) or virtually. This support will help ensure a smooth transition and continued success for Sherpa.

Transporation

Sherpa is currently in the NYC area and is available for foster placement there or in surrounding areas. He is also available for local or out-of-state adoption, provided the adopter can travel to meet him.
