Hi there! I'm Willow, a beautiful 8-month-old, 31-lb Siberian Husky/Cattle Dog mix with the most striking glassy blue eyes. I'm incredibly lucky to be alive! I was found as a stray in Port Lavaca, Texas, which is a dangerous place for pups since the only local animal shelter euthanizes animals. Thankfully, 4 Little Paws Rescue intervened just in time to save me and 28 other dogs and puppies, bringing us to foster homes in and around San Antonio to get ready for adoption. What a relief! I'm now vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, happy, and healthy, and ready to live an amazing life as someone's forever dog!
I am a very sweet and friendly girl with a joyful personality. I'm not shy at all and instantly love everyone I meet! I love the outdoors and being active, playing with other dogs, and I can run zoomies like the wind. I would be an excellent running partner and would excel at agility training or catching frisbees at the beach. As a youngster, I can be mischievous and silly, but I am also amazingly sweet and affectionate, kissy, and loving. I enjoy quiet times at home playing with my toys, especially the ones that make crinkling sounds. I'm a foodie and not picky at all, loving all dog-safe fruits and veggies like apples, carrots, and pumpkin, and I enjoy chasing ice cubes on the floor. I will give a little howl when I'm feeling especially happy, and my foster mom says I am smart as a whip, eager to please, and will follow direction and guidance. I'm not a fan of being kept in a crate and can figure out how to let myself out. I'm just a happy-go-lucky girl, grateful and genuinely in love with life!
Ideal Home
An active home where I can run and play outdoors would be amazing! I love playing with other dogs and would likely do well in a home with a canine companion. I am not a fan of crates and can escape from them.

I am vaccinated, spayed, and microchipped, and I am currently healthy.
Training & Support
I am eager to please and follow direction well. I can be a bit mischievous due to my age, but I am very affectionate and enjoy quiet times too.

Transportation
I am currently in a foster home in and around San Antonio, Texas. 4 Little Paws is based in CT and adopts to many states along the East Coast. Transport costs are included in the adoption fee, and we have options to get me to your location even if you are outside our typical adoption areas.
