Ned

Ned is a handsome boy with a beautiful coat that looks black but shines brown in the sun, accented by cute white toes. He has grown into his long nose and ears, sporting a distinguished goatee of white hairs on his chin that gives him a perpetually grumpy, yet charming, expression. Ned arrived in Minnesota from New Mexico with his siblings, Lucky and Dusty, as part of "The Three Amigos!" He's a master snuggler, ready to offer comfort and warmth at any time of day. While he can be a bit "looney" like Daffy Duck, Ned is eager to learn and please his forever family.

Ideal Home

Ned would thrive in a home that can provide him with plenty of attention and playtime. He is very social and requires another dog in the household for companionship, comfort, and wrestling. He loves to be on the sofa and sleep in bed with his people.

Ongoing Health

Ned is potty trained but may have occasional accidents if not given the chance to go outside. He is a fast drinker, so his water is rationed.

Training & Support

Ned knows "sit," "off," and "come," and is working on "down," "stay," and "wait." He enjoys training sessions and would benefit from ongoing classes to help him learn and bond with his family. He has a tendency to explore surfaces he shouldn't but is learning "off." He also has a bark that sounds like a small, frightened animal, which he does when scared, though this is infrequent.
