Meet Miller!

Miller is a 3-year-old, 22-pound bundle of sweet curiosity, ready to find his forever family! He's got a great mix of playful energy, loving to zoom around and chase his favorite rope toy, but he's also a master of relaxation, enjoying cozy naps under blankets on the couch. Miller is a devoted shadow, always wanting to be wherever you are, soaking in every moment. He loves his walks and exploring the world with his human.

Ideal Home

Miller would thrive in a home with a yard or with an active person who can provide him with regular walks. Given his initial uncertainty with stairs, a home without them or one where he can receive encouragement to navigate them would be ideal. He may do best in a home with older children.

Ongoing Health

Miller is recovering from a severe skin infection. While his hair is growing back, its uncertain if it will fully return to its previous state. He currently receives medicated baths 1-2 times per week to aid his skin's healing process.

Training & Support

Miller is house-trained and crate-trained, though he can be a bit reluctant to go into his crate initially, settling down with gentle persuasion. He knows his name and "come," and is working on "kennel up" and "sit." He can be a little mouthy, gently grabbing at fingers, so continued positive reinforcement and guidance will be beneficial. He is motivated by food, which is a great asset for training, but can also show a stubborn streak, so consistent training will help him continue to grow.
