RITCHEY ROO (aka Richard)

Ritchey Roo, affectionately known as Richard, is a delightful blend of exuberant energy and laid-back charm. This 5-6 year old, 90 lb boy was made to be man's best friend, showering his people with affection and companionship. He loves to lounge both indoors and outdoors, always wanting to be by your side. Ritchey can transition from a quiet couch potato to a jubilant ball of energy in an instant, especially when a leash or food is involved! While he can be gentle, he can also be a bit boisterous with his excitement, sometimes jumping when eager. He's a vocal boy, but only when he has something to say, often with a humorous flair. Ritchey is house-trained and comfortable being left alone. He's a good traveler and enjoys car rides and walks, though he does require leash training as he can be a strong puller. He doesn't seem particularly interested in toys or fetch, preferring to relax or enjoy time in a yard.

Ideal Home

Ritchey would thrive in a home with a fenced yard, where he can enjoy lounging and running. He would do best as the only spoiled pup in the home.

Ongoing Health

Ritchey arrived underweight and has since gained weight. He could benefit from a diet and/or increased physical activity to reach a healthier weight.

Training & Support

Ritchey has learned the command "OVER" to create space in bed. He requires leash training due to being a strong puller. He can be overly excited around food and when first getting attention, leading to jumping.
