Kyra is a soft-hearted, lovely young girl who has already shown us so much about who she is: gentle, resilient, affectionate, and quietly brave. After being found alone and frightened, Kyra is now safe in foster care and learning that the world can be kind. Even in busy, unfamiliar surroundings, Kyra has shown herself to be calm, poised, and wonderfully well behaved. She has a steady sweetness about her — the kind that makes you pause and say, “There's something special about this girl.” Kyra is a snuggler through and through — tender, affectionate, and happiest when she can be close to her people.

Kyra will do best in a calm, patient home with gentle adults and older children who understand that trust is something beautiful when it's allowed to unfold naturally.

Kyra is house trained and does well with other dogs.

• You must live within a 5-hour driving radius of Thompson, PA.
• We check veterinary references.
• All pets in the home must be spayed/neutered, up to date on all vaccinations, and maintained on heartworm and flea & tick preventatives.
