ROCKY

Meet Rocky, a handsome and playful 7-month-old black Lab! Rocky is a bundle of energy who absolutely adores his toys, especially a good game of tug-of-war or fetch. You'll rarely find him without a wagging tail, and his favorite place is right by your side. He even enjoys bath time and splashing around in his own doggie pool! Rocky is a social butterfly and has never met a stranger, eager to make friends with everyone he meets. He's doing wonderfully with crate training during the day and is a quick learner, especially when treats are involved – frozen applesauce is a favorite! He already knows how to sit, lay down, and give paw. Potty training is progressing very well, and he's even learning to use a button to let his humans know when he needs to go outside.

Rocky would thrive in a home where he can be your constant companion. He loves making new friends and enjoys playtime.

Ongoing Health

Rocky is fully vetted, which includes being neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on rabies vaccinations and all other dog vaccinations.

Training & Support

Rocky is a quick learner and is highly treat-motivated. He is working on mastering potty training and is showing great promise. He already knows basic commands like sit, lay down, and give paw.

Transporation

Rocky is currently in a foster home in Memphis, TN, and will be transported to Virginia once adopted. The adoption fee includes transport via a licensed and registered USDA transport company.
