Colt

Colt is a 3-year-old Sheepdog/Doodle mix who arrived from a difficult hoarding situation, scared, matted, and unsure of the world. After receiving the care he desperately needed, including a fresh shave and lots of patience, Colt has slowly started to come out of his shell. Behind those timid eyes is a gentle, sweet dog who just needs time to feel safe. Once he opens up, his goofy personality starts to shine, making us laugh and reminding everyone that there’s a happy dog underneath all that fear. He may take a little extra time to trust, but once he does, you’ll gain a loyal, lovable goofball who’s so worth the wait.

Colt is looking for a calm, quiet home with patient people who will let him adjust at his own pace and continue building his confidence.
